Spring Stripes

Happy February 29th everybody!:) I can’t believe we’re already heading into March tomorrow! But March means Spring, and I couldn’t be more excited for (somewhat) warmer weather and Spring fashion! Plus who else is over big heavy coats?! Anyways, today’s look is the perfect Spring outfit for a lunch date in Yaletown or Downtown!

Spring Stripes OOTD

This pale green jacket from XXI is so chic, slimming and lightweight, I’m looking forward to wearing it a lot this season! The only negative thing I’d have to say, is since the fabric is so thin it wrinkles quite a bit when you wear it. I highly recommend you own a steamer if you own this jacket or any one that is similar in fabric.

Forever21 Duster Jacket

Spring screams stripes, so I am so happy I came across this adorable boyfriend inspired button up to add to my collection! Although the stripes are grey, they look almost green when paired with the jacket. You could tuck this button up into your dress pants or pencil skirt for the office, then style it with dark wash skinnies or light wash bf jeans for the weekend!

Tan Felt Hat Call it Spring

To complete the look I grabbed my light wash ripped denim and nude stilettos & clutch :) My hat is from Call it Spring, and it is the perfect tan colour. Just a FYI the colour of the hat doesn’t have to perfectly match with the heels/ clutch- as long as it’s in the same colour story, you’re golden! Are you guys also excited for Spring fashion and warmer weather?:D

  1. I absolutely love this outfit, Mitra! I love the stripes and the light neutrals so much. It’s awesome that you dressed it up with some heels and a cute hat. Totally borrowing this look for brunch dates <3
Beautiful photos, too. Lovely brick setting. Where were these taken?
