Maui Adventures & Leopard Maxi

Hey everyone, hope you had a fantastic long weekend! I got home from my vacation in Hawaii on Thursday! I had the most incredible time in both Oahu and Maui with my family!:) Today I wanted to share with you some of my adventures in Maui as well as an OOTN!

One of my highlights of the trip was the Road to Hana! For those of you who haven’t heard of it, it is very famous scenic drive on the North-East Coast of Maui! It was so beautiful, I would recommend it 100%! You can stop at various waterfalls, beaches and view points and explore! We stopped for a picnic lunch at Black Beach, where like you guessed it..the sand is literally black. So cool! We then hiked the Bamboo Forest along the Pipiwai Trail, to see the Waimoku Falls– a 400ft waterfall! We finished by cooling off at the 7 Sacred Pools :)

One morning we woke up at 2:30am to drive up to Haleakala National Park at 10,000 feet to see the sunrise. It was gorgeous! A little chilly but so worth it! After the sun was up we hiked the Sliding Sands Trail to see the crater of the Haleakala Volcano.

We drove around the West side of the island which was beautiful (and very windy!) We passed through Kahakuloa where we stopped for the famous Julia’s Banana Bread! It was so delicious, my family and I devoured it in minutes haha. We stopped at Honolua Bay for some snorkeling, then finished at Lahaina where we did some souvenir shopping and saw the big Banyan Tree!

One morning we went to a Swap Meet/ Market in Kahalui. I drank fresh coconut straight out of the shell for the first time! Unfortunately it was warm, but not bad otherwise! We ate some tacos, coconut and papaya sweets and left with lots of fresh fruit and veggies :)

We went to a bunch of beaches and they were all amazing, but my favourites were Big Beach, South of Makena and Oneola Beach, North of Lahaina!

These photos were taken on the beach right outside our condo in Kihei! The dress is my go-to “vacay maxi”. I still love it just as much as when I bought it 3 years ago for my Cabo trip! I think the colour combo is beautiful..and the print is pretty great too;) Every girl needs that one dress to look forward to wearing on vacation!
