Happy hump day folks! Today was my day off, and spent my morning grabbing donuts with a friend at 49th Parallel on Main St. Have those of you in Vancouver been before? It was my first time at this cafe, and oh my goodness it was so delicious! I got the Lime Cheesecake donut and totally recommend it! Later I spent my afternoon at Starbucks to finish up this blog post and plan the rest of my blog posts for May. I promised on my Instagram to do a fitness post for my next one- so stay tuned for that! But I’d love to hear what you guys want to see for May! Let me know in the comments below!:)
Bombers were huge back in the Fall, and they continue to be THE jacket to own this Spring! Although Vancouver has been feeling like Summer lately, and it feels like it’s getting too hot for the bomber, on a colder Spring day they are perfect! Or perhaps if you live somewhere cooler you definietely need to own one! They are a great alternative from your leather jacket and are just as badass!;) They are so comfy and come in all sorts of fabrics, cuts and colours/prints you are bound to come across one that matches your wardrobe and lifestyle. Whether you like to dress casual or dressy here are 5 ways you can style your bomber!
- Denim, white T & baseball cap (like I am today)
- Black high waisted ripped denim & crop top
- Culottes & chic sneakers
- Knee length bodycon dress w/ peep toe booties
- Fitted simple LBD w sky high heels
I like the way bombers look when styled with something fitted, as they are usually on the more baggier side, and I don’t want to overwhelm my frame. However, that is totally personal preference, as there are no “rules”. I think culottes, which are loose and flowy still look amazing styled with a bomber! It’s really all about dressing your body type and knowing your proportions. My faves are the solid black or dark olive green bombers, as they are perfect for everyday and can easily be styled with so many things!
I kept it super casual today with my white T, dark wash denim, Nikes and baseball cap. Hats are ideal for running around town in, especially if you’re having a bad hair day, or want to throw it up in a pony! Hope you were able to take away a few tips from today’s post, and I’ll talk to you in my next one! Goodnight x. – Mitra
