Baddie Inspired: Bombers & Leather Skirts

Hey babes happy Wednesday! Hope you’ve all been enjoying this gorgeous weather! I’m in the middle of packing in this heat, and I can’t wait to be settled into my new apartment downtown next week! YAY!

For today’s post I’m doing a “Baddie” inspired outfit and makeup look. The Baddie trend really took off earlier this year, and basically it stands for a girl that has her makeup, hair, nails and outfit on fleek, is badass and confident. Think braided hair, winged liner, heavy contour and highlight, anything nike/ adidas. I’m a fan of the Baddie look and love recreating it with my own style!:)

I know it’s still Summer, but all retailers have been flooding their stores with their Fall collections and I couldn’t resist haha. I recently purchased this mini leather skirt and olive green bomber, both from Dynamite and I am obsessed! The fit for both are and they are the perfect match! I love how the bomber is super light-weight, making it perfect for transitioning into Fall. I think a leather skirt is a versatile piece to have in your wardrobe because it instantly spices up your outfit with some texture, giving you that edgy, sexy vibe! Any Baddie would agree ;)

I kept it casual with my nikes and white graphic T from SHEIN! It’s the perfect top tucked in. I threw on a simple choker and black shades to compete the look. I definitely want to do a “How to style a Bomber Jacket” video in the fall and show you guys how to style this trend both casual and dressy!:) So stay tuned for that!

For the Baddie makeup look I created I’m wearing ‘Beeper’ by Colourpop on my lips, ‘Wisp’ Colourpop highlighter, Kat Von D contour palette and my Stila liner which I winged out and blended with a pencil and black eyeshadow. What do we think..Yay? Nay? Hope you enjoyed today’s look and got a little inspo to try out the Baddie trend! Have fun with it :) Lots of love- Mitra xx
